SV2003 Multi-Function Integrated Scanning Sonar

The SV2003 is a multi-function integrated scanning sonar designed specifically for UUVs, ROVs, USVs, and small surface vessels. It features an integrated design that combines side-scan, down-scan, depth sounder, and attitude sensor into a single streamlined underwater unit, connecting to a host computer via Ethernet for real-time scanning results. The altimeter/fish-finder function is software-switchable, while all other functions can be used and output simultaneously.

Unlike similar embedded side-scan sonars on the market, this sonar integrates all electronic systems directly into the underwater unit, requiring only an Ethernet connection and power supply. This eliminates the need to reserve precious space for a separate electronics pod or system, making integration onto a vehicle extremely convenient.

The side-scan and down-scan functions operate at either 450 kHz or 900 kHz, selectable at the time of ordering. The maximum operating depth is 300 meters by default, with 1500m and 3000m models available to order.

The exposed materials of this product are polyurethane and 316 stainless steel, making it resistant to rust in seawater. However, due to the water permeability of polyurethane, seawater can slowly penetrate the sonar's sealant and cause irreversible damage. Therefore, continuous immersion in fresh water must not exceed 2 weeks, and continuous immersion in seawater must not exceed 1 week;
